The EquiOs project was born out of curiosity - a need to know more about, to better understand Iberian horses and specifically what makes Lusitanos and Purebred Spanish horses unique and special. And whilst the scientific method is the primary vehicle to enable that curiosity and that drive to gather evidence and knowledge, it is not the only source of valuable insights. Our upcoming newsletter, ‘Ibérica’ (www.substack.com/@equiosproject) is where you will find updates on the progress of our research, preliminary results and what we can interpret from them, as well as review articles on topics spanning health and nutrition of Iberian horses to news about horses of these breeds achieving outstanding accolades in all spheres of equestrianism.
